…be Muslim parents and act like the one and do not be the first and foremost enemy of your Muslim children by making him/her the worshipper of this world.
Holy Quran Sura Az-Zariyat (25:56) We have not created jinns and mankind except to worship Me.
Holy Quran Sura At-Tahrim (66:6) O believers! Save yourselves and your families from hellfire, whose fuel is men and stones; in the charge of fierce and mighty angels who never disobey Allah’s command and who promptly do what they are commanded to do.
Your children are not your creation they are the creation of Allah. Allah created them and us from a drop of sperm and we need not be arrogant. Even that sperm was created by Allah and not by you. Your children are just trust of Allah with you and are trail for you. Do deal with the trust justly by making your children worshipper of their creator i.e. Allah.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Anfal (8:28) You should know that your wealth and your children are, in fact, a test for you, and that Allah is He with Whom is your mighty reward.
Holy Quran Sura Yasin (36:77) Does not man see that We have created him from a sperm? Yet he stands up as an open adversary.
Holy Quran Sura Ad-Dahr (76:2) Indeed, We have created man from the sperm drop containing both sexes, so that We may test him. Therefore, We gave him the faculties of hearing and sight.
What is the worship of Allah! worship of Allah is not only the Salat (namaz), Saum (fasts), Zakat and Hajj; But worship of Allah is the submission to the will of Allah and doing everything that our creator and sustainer Allah wants us to do, and not doing the things which He does not want us to indulge in – That is the worship of Allah. Partial obedience is no obedience.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Baqara (2:208) O believers enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan, surely he is your clear-cut enemy.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Baqara (2:83-85) Remember, We took a covenant (firm commitment) from the children of Israel: “You shall worship none but Allah; be good to your parents, relatives, orphans and destitute, speak fair to the people, establish ‘Salah’, and pay ‘Zakah.'” But you broke the covenant, except a few of you, and you paid no heed. ……………..…………….. Do you believe in a part of your Holy Book and reject the rest? So what other punishment do such people among you, who behave like this, deserve, than disgrace in this world and to be driven to grievous punishment on the Day of Judgment? Allah is not unaware of what you do.
If you do not know then I am informing you that the world we are living in nowadays, the environment that surrounds us- does every effort to take us and particularly our children from light to darkness, from belief to atheism, from Tawheed to shirk, from haya to immorality. If we do not immunize our children against these like we immunize them from worldly diseases then most probably (Allah forbid) we will loose them to modern day fitnas/trials.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Baqara (2:120) The Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with you, until you follow their faith. O Muhammad, tell them : “Allah’s guidance is the only guidance;” and if after all the knowledge you have received, you yield to their desires, there shall be none to protect you or help you from the wrath of Allah
Holy Quran Sura Al-Maida (5:82) You will find the most violent in enmity to the believers are the Jews and the mushrikin; ……………………….
*Hindus are among mushrikin i.e. one who does shirk
It’s our duty and we owe our children, having brought them in this world, to teach them morals and not just any other morals but Islamic morals only then will they be successful in both the worlds. Otherwise they will hold us responsible on the Day of Judgment for their (Allah forbid) loss.
Holy Quran Sura Al-I’Imran (3:85) If anyone is looking for a religion other than Islam, then let it be known that it will not be accepted from him; and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.
Holy Quran Sura Al-I’Imran (3:19) Surely the only Deen (true religion and the Right Way of life) in the sight of Allah is Al-Islam: ………………………
Lets understand the fact that this world is not eternal, whatever our lifestyle may be its going to end. Only hereafter is eternal.
Holy Quran Sura Al-An’am (6:32) The life of this world is nothing but play and amusement, but the life of the Hereafter will be better for those who are righteous. Will you not use your common sense?
Lets long for best of both the worlds for our children and not just best of this world. Lets our self also learn and practice Islam and lets teach that to our children too, for our success in both the worlds. Otherwise what’s the only other possibility; you must be daily reading in the newspapers various happenings in our society and seeing where our society on the whole is falling to. It’s leading to self annihilation and wrath of Allah.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Baqara (2:200) ………………….There are some who say: “Our Rabb! Give us abundance in this world.” Such people will not have any share in the hereafter. (201) But there are others who say: “Our Rabb! Give us the good life, both in this world and in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the fire.” (202) Such people shall have their due share in both worlds according to what they have earned, Allah is swift in settling the accounts.
Let’s try to minimize the trails of our age to our children by removing the Idiot Box called TV from our homes; Lets minimize their trails by admitting them in same-gender educational institutions instead of co-education institutions; Lets minimize their trails of peer-pressure by making them have only good company of friends. Lets make them wear only Islamic clothing. Lets give them mobile only when they are mature. Lets put the computer were everyone can see what they are doing on it. Lets marry them early. Lets preach and practice Islam to them and lets make them practice it too. We may face difficulties, we may hear lot of noises for this but that is part of parcel of the deal –The Eternal Paradise.
Holy Quran Sura Al-Baqara (2:82) As for those who believe and do good deeds, they will be the residents of Paradise and live there forever.
