Funny Phrase-4: Religion is an individualistic matter and does not concern collective life.

1. Regarding “Sun is coldest place in universe and revolves around earth”

We know Sun is very hot and we do not need any proof for this as we all have experienced its hotness. Also, Sun does not revolve around earth rather earth revolves around the Sun. Only a mad person can utter this nonsense.

2. Regarding “All religions are good, correct, valid and same”

This is the modern day ignorance. This statement is kufr and shirk -called secularism. In the current times it is common to hear that “all religions are valid and good”.  Even some so called muslims utter this non-sense. If all religions are good then why did Allah (subhana wa taala) sent Deen-e-Islam, why Prophet (peace be upon him) endured the torture inflicted by Kaafirs for spreading this Deen.

When Islam was being revealed religions like Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc were already present at that time. If these religions were good and valid then why did Allah sent Islam for whole humanity? Because no religion was representing Allah. Allah sent Islam to the whole mankind because all other religions were corrupted by the people to which they were sent. For example Allah sent Taurat to Jews, but they corrupted the book by adding/deleting from the book. Then Allah sent Ingeel to them and Christians did the same to Ingeel what Jews did to Taurat i.e. changed its text, thus corrupting it. Finally Allah sent Quran to whole humankind and said He will guard it Himself from corruption (otherwise we Muslims would have done same to Quran what Jews did to Taurat and Christians did to Ingeel i.e. changed the book to satisfy their wishes and whims).

I ask those so called muslims who believe in secularism (i.e who say every religion is good); If every religion is good then why they do not convert to other religion, say, Hinduism, Judaism etc? If every religion is good then what prevents them from converting? Similarly I ask those Non-Muslims who say every religion is good, why they do not convert to Islam? But no, the only religion, the only Deen, the only way of life acceptable to Allah is Islam and nothing else. All other ways/religions lead to Hell and only Islam is the straight path, the path to Paradise.

Holy Quran (5:3) This day have I perfected your religion for you completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.

Holy Quran (9:33)- It is He Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth to exalt it over every other religion, even though the idolaters detest it.

Holy Quran (3:19)- Surely the only Deen (true religion and the Right Way of life) in the sight of Allah is Al-Islam:…

Holy Quran (3:85)- If anyone is looking for a religion other than Islam, then let it be known that it will not be accepted from him; and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

Secularism is nothing but the modern form of Deen-e-Illahi invented by Emperor Akbar.

3. Regarding fp_bair“Religion does not teach us to be different and distinct from Non-Muslims”

This quote of Sir Mohammad Iqbal is often quoted and advertised. Sir Mohammad Iqbal had many phases in life. Like, during early phase of his life, he wrote the poem “Sare Jahan Se Aacha Hindustan Hamara….” (the above quoted phrase is part of this poem), but during later phase of his life he demanded Pakistan- a clear contradiction. So it seems that he may have said the above funny phrase (i.e. “Religion does not teach us to be different and distinct from Non-Muslims”) during earlier phase of his life.

If religion do not teach us to be different from Non-Muslims– then why does not Islam allow us to marry mushriks; then why does not Islam allow us to celebrate mushrik festivals. Religion does teach us to be different from mushriks and not be like them. As may be clear from the following:

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book 72, Hadith # 780 Narrated Nafi’ Ibn Umar said, The Prophet said, “Do the opposite of what the pagans do. Keep the beards and cut the moustaches short.”

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book 56, Hadith # 668 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The Jews and the Christians do not dye (their grey hair), so you shall do the opposite of what they do (i.e. dye your grey hair and beards).”

Holy Quran (2:221)- Do not marry mushrik women until they become believers; a believing slave woman is better than a free mushrik woman even though she may be more attractive to you. Likewise, do not marry mushrik men until they become believers: a believing slave is better than a free mushrik even though he may be more pleasing to you. These mushrikin invite you to hell fire while Allah invites you towards paradise and forgiveness by His grace. He makes His revelations clear to mankind so that they may take heed.

Holy Quran (5:51)- O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as your protecting friends: they are only protecting friends of one another. Whoever of you disobeys this commandment will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoers.

We must follow the way of believers only and be distinct from unbelievers.

Holy Quran (4:115)Anyone who is hostile to the Rasool after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him and follows a path other than that of the believers, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen and cast him into Hell; which is an evil refuge.

4. Regarding “Religion is an individualistic matter and does not concern collective life”.

Islam is the complete way of life. Islam guides us in all the matters, be it small or big, individualistic or collective. Quran is the book of Allah containing the guidance for humankind.

In Quran, Allah has provided us laws for Personal life (like laws for Marriage [Holy Quran 25:54,17:32, 24:4, 24:19, 24:23, 17:32, 25:68, 24:6-9, 24:3, 24:2, 4:35, 58:1, 4:19, 4:4, 4:19-21, 4:24, 4:25, 5:5, 60:10, 60:11, 4:24, 4:4, 4:22-24, 2:221, 5:5, 60:10, 4:24, 4:25, 4:27, 5:5, 24:33, 4:128, 30:21, 4:3, 4:129, 36:56, 40:8, 43:70, 2:187, 33:37, 4:24, 24:32, 4:3, 4:25, 4:25, 4:24]; Divorce [Holy Quran 4:130, 65:1, 2:231, 65:2, 2:233, 2:241, 2:229, 2:236-237, 65:6, 4:20, 4:19, 2:226, 2:233, 58:2, 58:4, 58:3, 4:35, 2:236, 2:237, 2:229, 2:241, 65:1, 2:228, 4:128, 2:229, 65:1, 2:228, 65:4, 33:49]; Inheritance [Holy Quran 2:180, 4:176, 89:19, 4:11, 4:8, 4:12, 4:19, 4:7, 4:33]; etc),

Laws for Business (like Zakat [Hoy Quran 2:43, 2:110, 2:177, 2:262-264, 2:271-274, 2:277, 3:92, 3:134, 4:39, 5:12, 5:55, 9:5, 9:18, 9:60, 9:71, 9:121, 21:73, 22:41, 22:78, 24:37, 27:3, 30:38-39, 31:4, 36:47, 41:7, 47:36-38, 51:19, 52:40, 57:7, 57:10-12, 63:10, 64:16-17, 73:20, 76:8, 92:18, 98:5, 107:7, 58:12-13, 22:36, 3:180, 4:37, 25:67, 47:37, 57:24, 92:8, 92:19 , 2:215, 2:219 , 24:61, 89:18, 107:3, 4:38, 9:58, 9:76 , 16:71]; Ban of- interest [Holy Quran 30:39, 2:278, 2:275, 3:130, 2:278, 4:161], Gambling [Holy Quran 2:219, 5:20, 5:91], Immorality [Holy Quran 17:32, 24:4, 24:4, 24:19, 24:23, 17:32, 25:68, 24:6-9, 24:3, 24:2]; etc.),

Laws for Crimes (like death for- Rapist, for married Adulterer [Sahih Bukhari Book 83, Hadith Number 17], for an Apostate (i.e. a person who leaves Islam after accepting it) [Sahih Bukhari Book 83, Hadith Number 17]; amputating hands of Thief [Holy Quran 5:38-39]; etc.).

In Islamic terminology its called Shariat. Islam is the only Deen, the only way of life acceptable to Allah both at individual as well as collective level. It is a great sin to live life in a way which does not confirm with Islam, be it individualistic or collective life.

Holy Quran (5:44) …….those who do not judge by the law which Allah has revealed, are indeed kafirs (unbelievers)

Holy Quran (5:50) By rejecting the Divine Law do they wish to be judged by the laws of ignorance? Who is a better Judge than Allah for those who believe in Him?

This life is from Allah and we have to live it as Allah has commanded. Now the question may arise; I am in control of my life and of my family, so at individual level I and my family can live the life as Allah wishes us to. But what about the collective life? If the society we live in does not follow divine guidance on the whole i.e. does not follow Shariat then we have to do our bit to have laws of Allah implemented. We have to struggle for that. The way to struggle for this goal is shown to us by our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). At the start Prophet (peace be upon him) was alone in this struggle.

As we struggle for bread, butter and carrier we should also struggle for Islam at least with the same enthusiasm. We must not forget with every passing second we are coming closer to our death –whose time and place has been already decided for every person. We should not forget that one day we will be in front of Allah –Our Creator- when we will be questioned about this life, how we spent it. We must also not forget that Hell is not a Joke. In this world nothing is permanent; Akbar had a vast empire, commanded big army, lived lavish & luxurious life, but where is he now? Only his rotten bones will be now in his grave. This will be true for us also. So we must prepare for hereafter. Nothing lasts but deeds.

In the bad era we are living in, we have to guard our young ones and save them from corrupting ideas. We need to teach them Islam and we need to prepare them for the struggle of its establishment; otherwise we have no future. We must not forget Hell is in ambush for its inmates. And we must not forget the words of Prophet (peace be upon him) which He (pbuh) said about dajjal;

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Let him who hears of the Dajjal (Antichrist) go far from him for I swear by Allah that a man will come to him thinking he is a believer and follow him because of confused ideas roused in him by him (Abu-Dawud Book 37, Number 4305: Narrated Imran ibn Husayn).
